And so 2010 has started.  We had a wonderful celebration here with my mom, sister, brother-in-law, and my nephew and his family.

I had a great time catching up with my sister who I have not seen in 3 years. There is so much coming up this year too. Her daughter is getting married, so we had much to discuss.

Mom had one more week here and leaves on Thursday for California.  It's been a very nice visit so far and I am looking forward to the next week.  I don't know with her health and age if she is going to be able to come out to visit again, so this visit is very special to me and the family.

Today finds Wil and I heading out to Sears (damn right, Sears!) so he can be all manly and get the new tool chest for the garage. He has wanted one forever and I promised him one for Christmas, so today is the day to go pick it up.

Kids go back to school Monday and you can tell already that they are getting a little bummed out about it, but oh well...all good things must come to an end.
