There is wonderful comedian who does a routine of the plural of words. Since the plural of ox is oxen - he feels the plural of box should be boxen.  Which actually makes since, but then as everyone knows, the English language does not.

Another week has past and this one has been filled with boxes.  Empty boxes, boxes for packing, boxes filled with items for a yard sale and items for charity. My life is filled with boxes.

The bedroom set, dinning room set and entertainment center all sold this weekend, and so did the art desk and the sideboard.  Needless to say everything in those pieces had to be emptied and, you guessed it, boxed up.

My life for the next six weeks will be a drift in a sea of boxen.
