Flat Out Like-a-Lizzard Drinkin
Everybody's on The Phone

Well, Thanksgiving has pasted and it was a quiet one with just the four of us. Dinner was awesome though with plenty for sandwiches later.  I was able to speak with all my family on the phone this year which was nice.

Spoke with Cheryl and my mom in the morning before they headed off to Greg's folks for dinner. Valerie and Don were home with Don's dad visiting and I actually caught Kevin at a good time and we had a nice talk.

Mom is coming for Christmas this year and Kevin and Ken will be here for New Years so of course there have been many phone calls back and forth organizing things. Mom is sending a package of goodies out before she arrives. Items I can't get here on this side of the country.  Large packages of Jelly Belly's for Wil, small chocolate coins for Radar.  Spud always gets packages of Gallo Salami which he refers to as "Christmas Meat" since that is when Nana sends it, and I get my awesome San Francisco sour dough french bread and a small box of See's candy!  Yummo!!!

I always get a kick out of the times mom visits since she calls so much before she arrives, and then there are the calls and text messages and emails between my sisters and I making sure she arrives at the airport safely, and departs safely. I am sure since she will be here over a holiday there will be even more.

The telephone is such a wonder device. Thanks Alexander. Nice little invention there.
