Yesterday was a blast!  We started the day by running to Target to get a couple of shelves for all the DVD's and CD's that we have. We have a beautiful built-in bookcase and that houses all our book, but no storage for the DVD's and CD's, and of course the video games that the kids play.  So, off we go and come home with two new shelves that we have to assemble. The process went rather well, so we rewarded ourselves with a little rum an afternoon of fun in the pool.

The sunshine was out with just a few clouds in the sky and the temperatures were in the upper 80's.  So we cranked up some music and hit the water. I got some water aerobics in, which felt wonderful! However, my two boys are big showoffs. Running and jumping, and doing "cannonballs".  Spud decided to jump on one of the floats and managed to pop it completely. Nice one, Spud!! Oh well, we needed to get a couple of new ones anyway. There is alot to be said for floating in a pool on a nice afternoon. It was truly relaxing.

After our swim we enjoyed some wonderful barbecued ribs and roasted potatoes and an evening of watching comedy.  Some days are just fun!
