The past few days were supposed to be ones filled with celebration, due to Wil's birthday and Mother's Day.  Instead we started with a lovely flood in the basement (following a big storm), and of course, ended the weekend on the same note.

Friday, we woke up to wish a happy birthday to Wil and he ended up spending the better part of said birthday cleaning the basement due to flooding. Our landlady calls at 9:30 of said morning, as we discuss the situation, we also let her know the bathroom plumbing is still not working and now our refrigerator is having trouble. Well, she tells us she will call us back with information on their home warranty.  Today is Monday people and STILL NO CALL.

Anyway, I did get to take my husband out for a lovely dinner, just the two of us. Colleen and Pierre stayed with the boys. Thanks you again Colleen and Pierre!. On Saturday, we took Wil to the theater to see Ironman and what a fantastic movie that was!

Sunday was filled with Mom's Day stuff.  My guys made me breakfast (pancakes with fresh blueberries) took me to lunch, did the laundry, gave me wonderful presents, and helped me clean the basement again because another storm rolled in and we spent the later afternoon and evening cleaning out the basement do to the water rolling in.  We did find the problem this time and have found a way to divert the water away.  Today I am moving the de-humidifier around making sure the rooms down there all dry out.

I hope next weekend id dry. I'm a little over rain right now.
