Well, summer vacation is now just over a week old and I am happy to say that I have yet to hear the words "I'm bored" from either of the boys. This is a good thing and I think, perhaps a record for them. They have been helping out alot around the house, cleaning the basement, carport, helping with the yard work, and in between there has been time for them to see friends, play video games and computer games, and watch movies. We have also taken a few trips to Kings Dominion,

The best part of vacation though, will come when we go to Florida. We have a condo on the beach and plan to do alot of sand and surf and of course shelling. Perhaps we'll sneak in a trip to Universal Studios, or Disney World. Not sure yet. We decided that this vacation would be taken a day at a time instead of planning everything out. We will be able to get together with Roni (my niece-in-law) and her son Eryk. Her husband Chris is still stationed in Egypt, but we can at least spend some time with them.

In the mean time there is Supper Club coming up and the Fourth of July celebrations and in between, relaxing and maybe a few day trips to new places to see and learn new things.
